The Joy of Sharing the Great Love of God With Our Families

By Apostle Joseph Hobbs, Th.D.
John 1 :45-46

John 1 :45-46

45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. (KN)

"The happiest moments of my life have been the few which I have passed at home in the bosom of my family. -Thomas Jefferson

Greetings on this third watch of our Family and Friends services. It is with Jesus' joy that I pray that this series of services designed with our family and friends in mind has been a blessing to each of you. It is my earnest desire to see our brothers and sisters who don't know the Lord develop a relationship with him through the testimony of those of us who are faithfully committed to telling the truth of his love for all people.

There is something infectious about a heart that is ablaze with love for God. Philip had met Christ as was not contented to know that his friend had not experienced the love of Christ personally. We too should seek to present our families with an opportunity to know the power of the love of Christ through a meaningful relationship with Him. This relationship will begin to peek their interest based upon how we relate to the Lord ourselves. This is why it is so important to make a lifetime investment in our relationship with the Lord. Because like any relationship it is only as good or as strong as the investment that we are willing to make in it.

The greatest longing in the human heart is to know love, to know God is to know love. What better person to have a relationship with than the person who is the author and the originator of love. In order to win them this means that each of us must extend to them the agape love of God, by loving them in the same unconditional manner that God loves us. "For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another." (I Jn 3:11- KJV)
