Isa 43:18-19

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Greetings! Happy New Year to all! Today as in all the days of the rest of your life is a tremendous opportunity to experience a new beginning with God. The only thing that stands between you and your new beginning is 'you!' On last Sunday, Pastor Brenda being sensitive to the Spirit of God challenged us to change. We were challenged to come out of our comfort zones and reconnect with one another in the Spirit of unity and forgiveness. What followed was nothing short of miraculous! There were tears, soul-searching apologies, and heartfelt expressions of love shown amongst all who were present.

The secret to embracing God's new thing for this house is our acceptance of the fact that God wants to do a new thing in us and in allowing him to continue until completion. The corporate change that God is ushering us into will require that we recommit our lives to the service of our loving God. As a congregation we must allow the Holy Spirit to heal us that we might become more like Christ in our dealings with others.

This past Sunday was more than an exercise in common courtesy it was an opportunity to begin again. Please don't let this life-changing experience to pass you by. Cooperate with the Lord. Seek to know where he would have you to serve that you might God glory.
